I am a qualitative sociologist and I specialize in ethnographic methods. My research interests include urbanization, governance, class relations, and gender in contemporary India.
I currently am Assistant Professor of Sociology at National University of Singapore. I hold a joint appointment as Assistant Professor of Urban Studies at Yale NUS College.
